Aviation maintenance workloads are not always constant, especially when seasonal fluctuations are taken into account. Your preparedness for every maintenance task does need to be constant. The OASES Planning module helps you ensure that as tasks arise, they will be dealt with – no delays and no parts availability surprises.
By integrating your forecast maintenance schedules – and modification/defect limitation tasks – into works orders, OASES automatically generates work package documentation and material pre-loads. You’ll be able to track airworthiness directives and service bulletins, with the requisite actions automatically included in the works order with all necessary electronic documentation over-printed with identifying data.
With OASES, every task is tracked by labour time, personnel, trade, multi-stage thresholds and intervals. You can define the type of tasks you wish to track, along with labour time and numbers required, trade, multi-stage thresholds and intervals. Relationships between tasks can also be easily defined, including accomplishment, activation, calling, cancellation, “do not perform with” and “previously accomplished by” which allows management of spin-off tasks. The Planning module also allows different fleets to have separate life control restrictions i.e. fleet A controls APU by hours, fleet B by cycles, or either can be controlled by more than one life type.

MANUFACTURER JOB INSTRUCTIONS

Manufacturer job instructions, appropriately formatted, can be automatically imported, and associated with the task. When the task is called to a works order, OASES automatically attaches and prints the job instructions with the work card, references, and any local documentation attached; then easily referenced to the central task record. They can be printed and/or referenced in the task narrative automatically.

MATERIAL PRE-LOADS

The module automatically interrogates the final works order and all material requirements held against each task are collated to produce reports, emails or automatic routing to the relevant department according to each case. OASES identifies the work order location and intelligently manages each material requisition according to authorisation levels, warehouse preferences and stock availability.

MAINTENANCE CHECK PACKAGES

Individual task packages will appear in the forecast according to the most restrictive task contained within it. The Planning module also provides yield management tools for package review. A single click enables you to schedule a package into a works order; giving visibility of individual task details including schedule reference, other parameters most important to how you run your operations.

AIRWORTHINESS DIRECTIVE & SERVICE BULLETIN TASKS

Any task generated by an airworthiness directive or service bulletin can be entered into and tracked by the Planning module. Inspections or modifications which are required will be viewable in the aircraft maintenance forecast and can then be included in a works order. Planners can produce a work-pack to distribute to the department/organisation carrying out the maintenance.
