Behind the Scenes: From Prompt to Print

11 Dec, 2025

It’s no secret that more and more of the content you see online is generated by AI. What you might not know is that some of the content you see from us — social media captions, LinkedIn polls, even the occasional eye-catching headline — have been co-created with generative AI.

But before you start to worry that we’ve handed over the keys to the robots, let’s talk about how we’re using AI behind the scenes at OASES.

Why AI? Why now?

We’ve always been big believers in using the best tools to do better work. Whether it’s the software we build or the systems we use internally, we’re constantly looking for ways to improve. As such, it made sense to ask, “Could generative AI help us create more valuable, timely content, without compromising on quality?

As it turns out, the answer is “yes” — if done with a lot of care and some real thought.

How AI fits into our content workflow

We like to keep things simple, so here’s how most of our content comes to life these days:

1. Brainstorm with AI
We start by using AI to workshop various ideas: blog topics, campaigns, email subject lines and even creative poll questions. It’s a bit like having an extremely fast junior copywriter on standby 24/7.

2. Draft with AI
Next, we generate a rough draft. Sometimes it’s 80% there, straight away. Sometimes it’s not what we need and is discarded. Either way, it’s a springboard for ideas, not a substitute for creative thinking.

3. Human edit
Real humans, with real judgment and industry knowledge. At this point, our team take the AI draft and shape it into something worth reading. That includes adding important details, refining tone and checking for accuracy.

4. Publish
Once we’re happy that it’s relevant, accurate and useful, we go live with it. Because our name is on it, and that matters.

AI vs. Human: Who’s Better at What?

We don’t see generative AI as a replacement for people — just a very capable assistant. When it comes to content creation, here’s how they stack up:

AIMarketing Professionals
IdeaExcellent at quick brainstorming with unlimited variations.Excels at strategic thinking and creative insight.
DraftingCreated fast, with solid grammar and structure.Better at infusing emotion and nuance in storytelling.
RepurposingExceptional at quickly rewriting things in different ways for different uses.Essential for defining what should be repurposed and why.
SEO optimisationSkilled at keyword integration and metadata suggestionsUnderstands what will resonate with people and what will make them switch off.
Tone of voiceGreat at mimicking various styles.Excellent at brand alignment and emotional resonance.
AccuracyGreat at researching but can’t fact-check itself.Essential for verification and quality control – especially regarding legal or regulatory topics.

So, who’s better?
They both are, when combined. Generative AI accelerates the process. Humans make it matter.

Beyond creation: Repurposing and relevance

One of the lesser-known powers of AI is how it helps us refresh and repurpose content. Got a great article from last year? AI can help us find new angles, update references, and repackage insights into bite-sized posts or webinar talking points.

This means our ideas stay current, our messaging stays aligned, and our team doesn’t waste time reinventing the wheel.

Faster, yes. Cheaper, yes. But always human.

AI has helped us cut down production time dramatically, allowing us to create more great content than ever before. But that’s not really the story. We’re able to focus more energy on quality, strategy and creativity because we’re not getting bogged down in blank pages and repetitive work.

It’s not about cutting corners. What you see from us is still deeply considered, checked by real people and designed to help.

How this fits into modern content marketing

The way we create content is changing, and AI is playing a big part in that transformation. From SEO-rich blog posts to quick-turnaround social content, AI gives marketers new ways to scale without sacrificing quality.

We’ve seen firsthand how tools like ChatGPT can support marketing in high-compliance, fast-paced industries like aviation and tech. But the secret isn’t just using AI — it’s knowing how to use it well.

That’s why we’re building a content strategy that blends automation with accountability. We use generative AI to create relevant content faster, and real people to ensure everything we share is helpful and accurate.

For modern marketers, especially in regulated industries, this hybrid approach is proving to be a powerful way forward.

What this says about us

We know some companies are using AI behind the scenes but choosing not to talk about it — quietly automating content and hoping no one notices.

That’s not us.

We’re not trying to disguise our use of AI or pass it off as something it’s not. We’re proud to say that we’re embracing these tools — not because they’re trendy, but because they’re practical. When used thoughtfully, AI helps us move faster, deliver more value and spend more time on the parts of our work that matter most.

Transparency is part of our brand. We believe that sharing how we work builds trust. And we know that innovation doesn’t happen by clinging to the past — it happens by experimenting, learning and improving.

So, yes, we’re using AI — and we’ll keep talking about it, because we believe in:

  • Being early adopters when it makes sense
  • Testing new tools to stay competitive
  • Blending automation with human expertise

This doesn’t mean we’re handing over the reins to machines. It’s the same mindset we bring to everything else we do — from the software we build to the services we deliver. We’re always pushing to be smarter, faster, and more effective — without ever losing sight of what makes us human.

What’s next?

We’re still exploring what’s possible with AI — from smarter content planning to even more personalised communications. And as we continue to test new tools, we’ll keep asking the same questions:
Does it help us do better work? Does it help our customers? Does it move us forward?

If it ticks those boxes, we’re in.

In fact, AI has become a valuable tool across our whole business — beyond just marketing. We use AI in product development, sales, support and more. But again, only when it makes sense.
