OASES helping students reach for the sky

The team behind OASES, the all-in-one software for airworthiness maintenance control, are delighted to announce the decision to sponsor a half bursary at Cranfield University in 2023. The funds will go towards the education of a suitable candidate looking to work in aviation and come as part of OASES’ continued commitment to encouraging new talent within the industry.

The bursary is intended to help a student from a low-income background or with a refugee status who would otherwise be unable to pursue their aeronautical studies.

“Supporting the educational journeys of students at Cranfield is one of the many ways OASES works to foster innovation and growth within the aviation industry. We know the deserving recipient of this bursary will use their education to help build a brighter future for us all,” explained OASES MD Paul Lynch, adding, “And I sincerely hope this is just the start of a long-lasting and fruitful relationship with the university.”

Dr Ip-Shing Fan, Senior Lecturer in Enterprise Systems at Cranfield University said, “We see OASES’ association with Cranfield as a mutually beneficial relationship across academic, research and innovation activities and hope that we can continue working alongside them for many years to come. Opening up access to the aviation industry to talented people from diverse backgrounds is crucial for ensuring current and future skills needs are met. That’s why initiatives such as this bursary are so vital.”
